CAN'T WAIT TO FIND ME A P1, 918 SPYDER, AGRERA, ONE:1, etc. IN A BARN SOMEDAY.

Ok but seriously. Take that one P1 left in a parking garage for example... will we one day find these cars in barns like the sports/super cars of yesteryear? If so I'm totally in.

agreed, but unless a run down heated garage passes for a barn in the future, we might have to change the title up slightly. I will settle for an RS6 avant barn find though

I highly doubt people of the future will find these cars in random barns. The reason being is that we already know that they are highly expensive items that only the elite of the elite will purchase. Cars that we find in barns now were expensive, but affordable if one were willing to make those sacrifices. Also those cars were more or less an average car. I would be willing to bet future people will find unmolested M3's or M5's in barns before they find these super exclusive hypercars.

Authorship for this man?

I guess this is true... I'm still going to stick to my vain hopes... maybe garage finds are the future.

Other than the oddball rich-guy-abandons-his-Ferrari-in-Dubai, barn cars are going to be the ones that start out as something narrow market and desirable, depreciate to an affordable point and a good amount of time must pass before appreciating again. A P1 will never fall to that point, but an M3/5 or Turbo will (and does). Same with many Astons or Ferraris, given time. But at that point in time will things have changed, loaded & dialed electrics with $15/gal gas? It seems like a barn find lifecycle is probably in the 30-50 year range, so 2040 or better for an e46 CSL?
